One of the joys of our sacred circles is that there is no appointed leader. The process unfolds organically in response to the needs of the moment. Is a certain song called for? Perhaps someone will start singing. Others may join. Is it a chant we already know? Can we learn it while we dance?
There can never be a complete list, because the chants change constantly. New chants come into being, old ones may be forgotten. There are different ways to sing the same song. Our tradition is oral. Sometimes, though, it's nice to have a reminder of the words. Here then are some of the chants we sing:
